Hello,

I recently received some assistance from a Priest in Poland (I don't know his name) and I would like to send him a thank you note (the researcher I hired in Poland already gave a donation to the church). Can someone please translate the note below from English into Polish for me? If you need to change around the sentences or grammar for easier translation, that is fine as long as the sentiment is kept. And if you have suggestions for changing any part so as to be more appropriate, I would like to hear it.

Dear Priest,

Several weeks ago, you helped ---------- locate some records for my ancestors in your Parish books. Thank you very much for your kindness. I have been searching for many years to find living relatives in Poland, and your generous help brings me closer to that goal.

Hello Cynthia,

I suggest to write: "Szczęść Boże" (God with you) instead of "Dear Priest". We say it to priests in Poland instead of Good Morning.

Here is the translation you asked for:

Szczęść Boże,

Kilka tygodni temu pomógł mi ksiądz w odnalezieniu w księgach parafialnych zapisów dotyczących moich przodków. Bardzo dziękuję za życzliwość.
Od wielu lat poszukuję żyjących krewnych w Polsce. Wspaniałomyślna pomoc księdza przybliża mnie do tego celu.

Niech księdza Bóg błogosławi i strzeże!
