Who wants to get together at this reception at the Polish Museum of America???
The Polish Museum of America (PMA) graciously invites us to join them for a very special reception of the 50th Anniversary of Poland’s Millennium of Christianity Chicagoland Observances exhibition on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 6:00 – 9:00 pm, at the PMA Sabina P. Logisz Great Hall.
The museum is located at
984 N. Milwaukee Avenue Chicago, IL 60642
More information about the Event:
In 1966, Chicagoland Polonia came together to celebrate the historical birth of Poland through a series of elegant banquets, spectacular pageantry, and religious masses.
The anniversary program includes an exhibit, a performance by Collegium Cantorum Polonia and Sing to the Lord Choir, and a screening of documentary footage recorded at the 1966 Soldier Field celebrations. Guests are also encouraged to dress in the style of the 1960s, as an opportunity to experience the Millennium observances once again! Suggested donation – $10. Light refreshments will be served and cash bar will be available.
Leave a message here if you plan to go - I would love to meet some of my Polish Origins friends!
