Post subject: Roman Wisniewski in Warsaw - https://polishcitizenship.pl/
Has anyone utilized the services of Roman Wisniewski in Warsaw for record searches or certification of Polish citizenship? His website, https://polishcitizenship.pl/ , is very well stated, but in discussions with him, I found out he is a consultant and not an attorney. Would this effect anything? He seems very knowledgeable and asks for payment only after citizenship is confirmed.
I am hoping someone has utilized his service and had a positive interaction they would be willing to share. I do not want to get ripped off or have my documents/certificate held for ransom.
Thanks,
CJH

Do not trust Roman Wisniewski from polishcitizenship.pl
I had a lot of problems, I payed him and after one year of waiting and lies, I did not receive any polish citizenship confirmation.
Now he does not want to make a reimbursement.
He is not trustworthy at all!!!

There are many polish descendants all over the world , here in Brasil the second more numerous , and the polish Mazovia asks you for a representative that lives on Poland

Never EVER trust this guy. He took a lot of money and then asked for more money to give me my documents! He said prices had increased in Poland and lots of lies. He never replied my emails for three months - he steals the money from you.

Unfortunately, despite that he is actually knowledgable about the law, this appears to be a scam. Even though the document says "unconditional guaranty, no questions asked" he refuses to refund the money paid after nearly 6 months of no progress. Since I have family in Poland, I will get this guy reported to the authorities with all documentation. I will update this post with the final results. I am mad at myself for not finding these posts earlier and doing some basic research which would prevent me from wasting time and $$$. BEWARE!
Update: Despite Roman initially stating that no refund will be given, the two advance payments that we paid have been refunded in-full via PayPal. We are awaiting receipt of our original documents that we have provided to him and we will provide further update.

Post subject: NEVER TRUST Roman WISNIEWSKI
I’ll tell what happened with me. I’m a Brazilian and i was trying to get my polish citizenship, i paid Roman to do my process… and as the others said, he stopped to reply my emails. I hired a lawyer in poland to check my process after many months with no reply, and guess what?! His translations were wrong(birthdates, and some other stuff). He took over my case and corrected everything, after more 4 months i got my polishcitizenship and my documents, easily. Now he received the confirmation he is sending me LOADS of emails asking for more money, i’m not replying, also cus he blocked my email. CONCLUSION: NEVER TRUST ON HIM, totally unprofessional.

I had a similar problem. How come he gets to continue working with this "work"? Did you prosecuted him?

Post subject: Don't use him
Following on from others, I used this person to apply for Polish nationality. Don't use him. Don't even think about it.
I won't go into the details, but he lost a huge amount of my original family documents, didn't check documents correctly, submitted incorrect documents to the authorities and then lied about it repeatedly.
After nearly 18 months of inactivity, empty promises and lies in desperation I spoke to the authorities directly and they told me they'd been trying to communicate with him for over a year, with no answer.
So I completed the rest of the task without him (just a very small amount of money to an official Polish translator) and it took only 6 more weeks.
If you have a Polish friend to help with translations the application process is actually relatively simple and very cheap!
Then applying for a passport after you have been granted nationality is as easy as anywhere else, a simple form.
