My Swidrowski and my Sulewski families lived in Pręgowo parish (near to Gdansk) from the earliest I can trace 1800 until about 1872.

I have had success tracing most of my Swidrowski line in that area (they lived in Lisewiec, Ostróżki, Buszkowy villages), but have run into roadblocks with the Sulewski side.

Augusta Wilhelmina Sulewska (born 1852 Mierzeszyn parish) married Julius Andreas Swidrowski in 1875 in Zukczyn.

Augusta's parents were Mathias Sulewski and Anna Wendt. They married in June 1845 in Czerniewo, Pręgowo parish. I know Mathias died in 1859; he was born approximately 1807. Anna Wendt was born in 1825; father Laurentz and mother Ewa Gorska.

I am looking for Mathias Sulewski's family and birth: probably in Pręgowo parish or in nearby Mierzeszyn parish. Mathias dies March 9, 1859 in Graniczna Wies.

I am looking for what happened to Anna Wendt after her husband Mathias Sulewski died in 1859: did she remarry? When did she die? I have looked through Pręgowo records and have not found her.

Thank you for any insight or guidance.

Meredith
