I am interested in pictures from these villages ( approximately 49 N 21 E). I am also interested in information about the Mysliwy and/or Lubas families from or in that area.

Klizzy, I don't recognize either of your surnames, but I do have family from Szebnie (and nearby Jaszczew). Unfortunately I have not been able to find much info about them since the records from this area aren't available through LDS and my letters to the local parish and archives have gone unanswered.
There are a few photos here: http://spuscizna.org/spuscizna/szebnie.html
More info on the parish here: http://www.szebnie.parafia.info.pl/

Thank you for the link. I put the Mysliwy name in the search area and got to Stanislaw right away as well as Joanna, A., and Peter and his family. Knowing there was a Mysliwy in Szebnie at the time of the wars is a great help. Now I need to find some more information about Stanislaw and if his father was Jan Mysliwy. This might be a connection for me.
What is the best place for me to try to find this information? The Church in Szebnie, the archives for that region (what city would they be in Jaslo?).
I hope someone can head me in the right direction to find these answers.
Where could I check on the birth records for my grandparents? again Church, archives or some other place.
I hope someone can send me in the right direction.

Hi Karen,
The only sources for Szebnie records that I know of are the Szebnie parish itself and the Przemyśl Archdiocese archives. I've written to both but never received responses.

Hi Brian
Maybe when you visit you'll get a chance to talk to the priest and see if you can get some information. I've also contacted the priest with no response.

Albertinio,
Do you by chance have access to any other parish records from Podkarpackie? I'm looking for Ulanow, in Nisko county.
Regards,
Christine Stanley

Post subject: Parish of Szebnie
Albertinio -
I am helping someone with their Polish genealogy. How much would you charge to search for a baptism record in Szebnie Parish? Jozefa Wajda may have been baptised there in 1873. Also, her sister, Karolina Wajda may have been married in Szebnie Parish about 1891. We are most interested in learning the names of the grandparents of Jozefa and Karolina Wajda. What do you require as payment? Sandy
