I just join member today and your post caught my attention. I believe you have the information I have been searching for last 17 years. My great grandmother Emilie (born Janetzke September 17, 1864) Eiswald's ship manifest record showed Baranie, Russland as her last residence when she immigrated to America in 1895. My great grandfather is Michael David Eiswald (b. April 16, 1861). They had three children Anna born on July 18, 1885, Alfred born between 1886 to 1892 died between 1882 to 1894 and Adolph John born on April 7, 1893. On the family letter saying the children were born in Lipno. Emilie and Michael grew up in Kiel (I believe it may be in Kikoł) and got married on October 2, 1882. Michael's parents were said to be Christian Eiswald and Karoline Wiese. There is a hint that he might have a brother whom we never knew. Marriage license in Michigan, US showed Ferdinand August Eiswald born on July 11, 1869 from Obernessau, West Prussia now known as Wielka Nieszawka, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland the same parents as Michael David. Emilie's parents were Benjamin or Oswald Janetzke and Louise Kruger. The parents birth dates were unknown. Emilie had 2 sisters and a brother. Anna Marie Hannah Breitenfeldt married to Martin and they immigrated to America. Sister Emma Arndt and brother Herman Janetzke. Birth unknown. Need guide where I can find their records.

They spoke German.

Many thanks for the translation. Michael Eiswald was born in Gnojno and lived in Cielin Ossówka parish. Emilia Janiecka was born in Antoniewo Ossówka parish. Can you please help me find the right locations of Gnojno and Antoniewo? I can't find Cielin. Do they belong to the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship? Thank you!
