Hi Marcelproust,

I am trying to assist Joseph on the thread "Search for Bronislaw Turolski & Family". Without doing full translations, can you please look at these records and tell me if they are one family or two families? The father is Jan Torolski/Turolski/Tyrolski but the mother is sometimes Maryanna Wiechowska and sometimes Maryanna Modzelewska. If it is two families, then both families lived first in Susk (parish Rzekun) and later in Dzierzbia (parish Poryte), based on what I see here.
The key is that Wanda seems to have both mothers - - so I think there must be two girls named Wanda.

Thanks!

Thank You very much for the translation for the records of my family. I can't tell you how much it means to me. My wife Geraldine and I along with my friend Dennis Kurc will soon be visiting the very same places mentioned in these records.

Hi,

Could I please get this birth record translated? The name on the record is Stanislawa Wozniak and it is #12. Also, does the note at the bottom (written in blue) mean that she died in 1983?

Take a look at record number 102. Priest just made mistake and he wrote data from record 102 into record 101. On the left marigin of record 101 he wrote the correct data.
i think he just had a few records to fill in the book and he made mistake.

Thank you very much for the translation. I really appreciate it.

When you get a moment, could you help me with another record? It's for Piotr Wozniak - #13. I'm interested in his parents' ages.

Hi Marcel,

I am attaching two records needed for translation. The first is a marriage record and the second one is a death record. The marriage record has something written in Polish in the margin - can you please confirm that I am reading it correctly as the husband died on the 27th October 1970 in Rożan?

Many thanks,
Megan.

Wow, many thanks for your translation Marcel! This has filled in a lot of blanks in my family research. These records are for the brothers of my direct ancestors who I haven't really been able to trace, so every little kernel of information is like a goldmine for me. Just wondered on a couple of points - in Aleksander's and Józefa's marriage record, it says that Aleksander's mother is a worker. Is this like a farm worker or a servant or something else? Secondly, in the death record of Jan Blados, is he the person born in Dąbrówka?
I really struggle with the Russian records, so you truly are a blessing. Thank you for all that you do.

Best regards,
Megan.

Hi! I need some help with some translation. I have four records here. Sorry for so many at once, but I am trying to peg down some villages before FamilySearch ends their microfilm ordering.

These are from the Russian Partition and those are the records I have trouble with (I have ancestors in all three partitions; Austrian is easiest in the Latin tables, Prussian is okay as the German tables aren't too bad, but the Russian partition is very hard in both the Cyrillic/Russian/Slavonic and the Polish especially since they're all just in block-paragraph form).

Thank you for this service! It is invaluable in everyone's work tracking down our Polish ancestors.

About the mother's profession: It is hard to say what kind of worker she was. Prycanowo is very near to Różan. Różan is a city so maybe she was working there or maybe she was daylaborer working in farms.

i confirm: Jan Bladosz birth place was Dąbrówka.
