Post subject: Polish Ancestor Occupations
I would like to know more about the occupations of our ancestors. I have some LDS church records indicating my gr-grandfather & his family were shoemakers in Przedecz spanning over 30 years from about 1850. Are there any good links to search for historical purposes? Other occupations include a nailsmith from Klodawa, a cook from Blenna and a mid-wife. Were these jobs common for the time and location in Poland?
