I am new to Polish Origins having just discovered it, so I'm not sure if this is the right forum for my query.

I am looking for information about my maternal grandfather Jan Jaźwiński and his brother, Kazimierz in Równe (now in Ukraine) in the early years of WW2. The information I have is very sketchy because nobody was certain of the facts. It is believed that they played an active part in the resistance movement against the Russians. They were rumoured to have been betrayed to the NKVD along with possibly 20 others, put on "trial" and executed.

I would welcome any help with ideas how I can move forward with this.
