Hello I was wondering if anyone has any information on the surname Dachowski? I am travelling to Poland in the fall and was hoping to find something out about my family history. I believe my great grandfathers name was Alexander Dachowski and he was from Pstragowa, my grandfathers name was merislaus (mesilsaus ?) alexander Dachowski and lived in Manchester NH he changed his name ( by just using ) the name Matthew (nicknamed) Mietek. If anyone could help with any information I would greatly appreciate it.

Just found Marcin Dachowski in 1883 (mentioned in NY arrival as brother to Alexander)

Maternal side of my family comes from Pstragowa. If needed, I may have access to the parish records.
