On a previous post you said she was born in Goleszyn. So maybe it is a place around this area. Many of them end as -owo.

there was only one Goleszyn in Poland, 10 km far from my home town.
Goleszyn, Płock governorate, Sierpc county, Białyszewo community, Goleszyn parish

but there was no birth record for Waleria Kowalska in 1872-1877 period in Goleszyn parish. there were other Kowalski's but no Waleria.

Marcel,
After studying old maps from around the 1900's, I have come across a town not too far from Goleszyn called Tluchowo.....people talk about the Parish of Tluchowo.......could that possibly be Toltovo do you think?
Regards,

Liz

i have found birth record for Waleria Kowalska in Tłuchowo parish in 1870, record number 32

i checked 1870-1880 period except for 1873 wich was not available and it was the only Waleria Kowalska born in Tłuchowo in that time

father: Bartłomiej Kowalski: son of Walenty and Franciszka nee Malczyńska
mother: Antonina Rutkowska, daughter of Michał and Elżbieta Lewandowska

i asked before to give all details you have!!!

you should tell me we are looking for Waleria Lawendowska and that Kowalska was her marriage name.

She shouldn't be Kowalski then, she would have been Lavindorsky
Thoughts on this?

if you said about it at the beginning, I would not look for a Kowalska name. It took a lot of time. Now it is necessary to look again at the parishes of Gozdowo and Tłuchowo for a new name.
