I have been working on the genealogy of my family in Poland for a couple months now and I am stuck. Here is what I know...

Sczcepan Gazda - my great-grandfather, born December 26, 1892 in what is now Cisow Las, Podkarpackie Voivodeship, but was a part of Austria at the time. Married Wiktoria Szot. They had Jan Gazda (around 1922) and Andrzej Gazda (my grandfather) on November 26, 1926. They lived on a farm in the village of Gwoździec. Sczcepan went to Canada in 1928. He was supposed to send money for Wikotoria and the kids to come to Canada, but Wiktoria got pregnant, so Sczcepan never sent for them. Wiktoria had Marysia (spelling?). I do not know the last name, but I do know Wiktoria's maiden name was Szot. Sczcepan Gazda died on June 12, 1967 in Montreal, Canada. Wiktoria died around August 1984.

Sczcepan's mother's maiden name was A Radomski.

I have all this info, but not sure where to use it. If anyone has any pointers for me, I would appreciate it.

Thanks. PM me if you have any suggestions or questions.
