Post subject: Polish National Archives - 1 million new scans in Szwa
Following on from the 1.3 million scanned images added in November, the Polish National Archives have just released another 1 million scanned images into the ‘Szukajwarchiwach’ database.
Lots of Births, Marriages and Death record from the following Archives: Kalisz, Opole, Płock, Przemyśl, Wrocław. Frustratingly once again, despite most of the new records coming from the Kalisz archives, it doesn’t include my town of interest.

Post subject: re family information
I need suggestions on where to find information finding my Uncle -Jan Karnicki who may have been resettled from Belarus to Poland after WWII in 1948-50 to eastern parts of Poland. Do you know of any Lists of people available on the internet of resettlement?
I can read some polish but cannot write in polish. I am on MyHeritage but the information stops at about 1920. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have put my mothers story on Polish Origins. Best wishes Denise Kawecki. (from Brisbane) _________________ Denise
