Previously I posted in this forum about finding my ggparents (Frodyma) in Blizne, Rzeszowie, Podkarpackie, Poland.
Boy did I get lucky! if it helps anyone, I saw scanned birth, marriage and death records for Blizne, Krosno, Sanok, Golcowa, Stara Wies, Jasienica ... in the state archive http://szukajwarchiwach.pl ; they can be downloaded onto your computer-tablet etc. The time period was about 1890-1905. I was hoping for scans for Brzozow also but nothing was available as of yet. There are a lot of little villages mentioned in many parts of Poland. It is a good place to start searching once you have a town-village name and surname.

Note that there is a bit of a learning curve with the archive but once you figure it out, (and have google translate ready in your browser) it can be a good resource.

Also I made a visit to the Family History center in Salt Lake City UT and with a little help of one of their outstanding genealogy specialists was able to get all of the records of my other ggparents in Globikowka.

Wishing you the same success.
Sharon
