I am having difficulty finding information regarding my Polish heritage. My grandpa, Vincent Angulski, was born in 1891 in Bienna, Poland. He came to America and had a family, but we didn’t know much about who or where he came from. His father may be Constantine or Jan Angulski. His mothers name was Apolonia. I am new to this forum, so please let me know if I need to go about this differently.

Hi Stifterkate,

Here are two sites which should help you to move your research along. Geneteka has births and one death of your grandfather’s siblings indexed as well as the marriage of his parents (your great grandparents). The site genealogiawarchiwach (Genealogy in the archives) is a product of the Polish National Archive in Toruń and has scans of the actual records which are housed in the branch in Włocławek.

Here are links to the indexed records from the parish of Błenna which contain names of your family members and their birth, marriage and death records:
http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=gt&lang=pol&bdm=B&w=02kp&rid=B&search_lastname=angulski&search_name=&search_lastname2=rysinska&search_name2=&from_date=&to_date=&rpp1=&ordertable=

http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=gt&lang=pol&bdm=S&w=02kp&rid=S&search_lastname=angulski&search_name=&search_lastname2=rysinska&search_name2=&from_date=&to_date=&rpp1=&ordertable=

http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=gt&lang=pol&bdm=D&w=02kp&rid=D&search_lastname=angulski&search_name=&search_lastname2=rysinska&search_name2=&from_date=&to_date=&rpp1=&ordertable=

This link takes you to the site which contains scans of the actual records:
https://genealogiawarchiwach.pl/#query.type=ALL&query.city=B%25C5%2582enna&query.suggestion=false&query.thumbnails=false&query.facet=true&query.asc=false&query.sortMode=PUBLICATION&personTree=false&goComments=false&query.query

Wishing you success in your research,

Dave
