Yesterday I found my grandmother's death certificate online. Her father was listed as Albert KOMOLINSKI and he was born in Poland.

My grandmother was born as Helena Kamlinska on 14 MAY 1907 in Warsaw, Poland, according to her death certificate.

Do You have any more info about Your grandmother? Any letters sent to Poland or any documents?

Hello,

I think I found the passenger list for her 1930 immigration to Canada. See attached.

Reading the details of her line indicates she was born in Kropiwno. Here is basic information from Wikipedia

Kropiwno [krɔˈpivnɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dąbrowa Białostocka, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Dąbrowa Białostocka, 35 km (22 mi) north of Sokółka, and 67 km (42 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.

Also, she gives her fathers name as Andrzej Kamolinski. Her destination is to a friend, T. Gelley in Winnipeg.

Hope this helps,
Cynthia
