Hello Kurt
Francisca Kostecka was "achtundsiebzig" or 78 years old, her maiden name as well as her parents’ name was "unbekannt" or unknown and she was "verheirathet gewesen mit" or married with Josef Kostecki.
Best regards,
Michael

Yes, the mother Christine Zielke is deceased and she lived “zuletzt” in Parlinek. It might help to translate “zuletzt” not as “recently” with a meaning of “not long ago” but as “last”, i.e. in Parlinek was her last residence and it is possible that she also died long ago, so you might have to extend your search further into the past.

Thanks this helps for sure. Appreciate it along with quick response i can keep motoring on my search.
By the way, have you ever searched on genealogiwarchiwach?
Am I doing something wrong? WHen I am looking through a book of records, I have a record open, I click the next arrow and it zooms way out. I can't read the record so I have to click zoom in, then when I click the next arrow it zooms way out again.
WHen I'm working in the familysearch records, if you zoom in and click the next image, it stays zoomed in on that specific location. It helps going through records much quicker.
Can you not do this on genealogiwarchiwach records?

Hello Beth
Please find the translation of your record:
On May 25 [1751], Willhelm Hoffmann, a mason, Samuel Hoffmann’s from “Mittelborn in dem Sickingischen” [I assume what is meant is the village Mittelbrunn, belonging to the family ‘von Sickingen’] legitimate son
was married with Anna Maria, legitimate daughter of the deceased Christian Strubel, former inhabitant of Contwig
in the church of Battweiler preceded by the triple proclamation of banns.
Best regards,
Michael

Hope you are well over there.
As Sophia already stated, this record is written in Latin and I will focus on the main points:
In the year 1787, on February 13, preceded by the triple proclamation of banns in my parish in Zeiskamm and in the parish in Bergen, namely on Candlemas [February 2, 1787] and the following two Sundays, no just reason uncovered and with the consent of St. R.D. Joseph Kah, the priest in Bergen, who is the guardian of the groom,
Joannes Theobald Lederle, citizen, butcher and innkeeper of the Hind in Bergen, legitimate son of Theobald Lederle, councilor and innkeeper of the Hind in Bergen, and Anna Maria, born Müller, his wife
and the chaste virgin Anna Elisabeth Zoller, legitimate daughter of Peter Zoller, deceased citizen and miller in Zeiskamm and Maria Catharina, born Traut, his wife
were married. Witnesses were Andreas Schnell, citizen and dealer, and Martin Knell, citizen in Bergen.
So signed with me personally
Johann Theobald Lederle
Anna Elisabeth Zöllerin
Franc. Xaverius Castelli, priest in Zeiskamm at Christ's Resurrection
Andreas Schnell
Martin Knöll
If you require a word by word translation of the phrases going along with the ceremony, you might post your request in the Latin Records translation thread.
Best regards,
Michael
