Post subject: Writing to the Diocesan Archives in Lomza
I've written several letters recently to the Diocesan Archives in Lomza, requesting records mainly from the parish of Kleczkowo, for which between available microfilm and online records there is a crucial gap prior to 1880. The following email has generally been their only response:
Szanowny Panie,

Sir,
due to numerous obligations, we do not carry out genealogical queries (possibly only if we are given the parish, type of act, its number and year, and information about the person / persons concerned).
Yours faithfully

PS. Privately, I am volunteering at the Łomża Scientific Society of Scales. As part of its activities, the Society appointed a group of genealogical consultants (details: http://wirtualnie.lomza.pl/wirtualnie/2020/01/29/genealogical-consulting-group/) in which we try to help in the search for ancestors. You can write to us via email [email protected] or [email protected] and one of the group's members will look after your case.
PPS. In addition, the Society is in the process of implementing a project on Polish emigration (details: http://wirtualnie.lomza.pl/wirtualnie/2019/08/19/losy-lomzynskich-emigrantow-w-zrodlach-z-lat-1900/) . For the needs of the project, the name.lomza.pl website has been created, which has about 250 views every day. We collect and publish on it with the consent of the owners various family souvenirs, such as photos, letters, memories, and diaries. Perhaps you would like to publish a text related to your family, for example when, how and why they emigrated to the States or family photos - it is possible that after reading it people who have shared ancestors with you or recognize people from the photos would come forward.

Firstly I'm posting their letter here, in case it helps anyone else. But as for myself, I've written their genealogical consultants three times without response. I'm curious if anyone else has written them with any success? And how long did their response take? And does anyone know if records for Kleczkowo prior 1880 are really available? Thanks.

i will call State Archives and ask where the books from this parish before 1880 are stored. _________________ My translations are voluntary, but they take a lot of time and effort, so whenever you want to send money it will be a very nice "Thank you" gift to me.
THANK YOU

Okay thanks Marcel. I'm mainly looking for records from the 1840's to the 1870's. I need the death record of Adam Spizarny, who was living in Radgoszcz (Kleczkowo parish) in 1844, but died sometime between 1844 and 1861.
