I am still trying to figure out the status of one of my forebears, Pawel Ostrowski re the Nobility Tribunal in Lviv.

Nr 752, November 13th, 1820.

Ostrowski Paweł, living in Biała, located in the district of Tarnopol asks The Court of Nobility in Stanisławów to command the bailiff to hear the witnesses indicated by the declarant, who will prove that Michał Ostrowski is a son of the spouses: Stefan Ostrowski and Tekla Sokołowska.

As the petitioner did not provide the reason for which he is demanding to hear witnesses who were to testify the origin of Michał Ostrowski, son of Stefan Ostrowski and Tekla Sokołowska, and it is not known what use the declaring person wants to make of such a certificate, this application was considered without effect.

November 15th, 1820.
