It happened in Sompolno, on November 18th, 1866, at 4.30 p.m.
We make it known that in the presence of the witnesses: Bogusław Miske, farmer from Bycz, 23 years old and Bogusław Matz, farmer from Holendry Bytońskie, 44 years old, not related with the newlyweds, but knowing them well, a religious marriage was concluded on this day, between:
August Schmidt, a single man, 22 years old, who was born in Bycz and lives at his parents', son of Jan and Karolina nee Krüger, spouses Schmidt, dożywotnicy* who live in Bycz
and
Karolina Schmidt, a miss, 16 years old, who was born in Ludwikowo, living at her mother's, daughter of Krzysztof Schmidt, the late farmer, who died in Ludwikowo and his wife, farmer living in Ludwikowo, Eleonora nee Steinke.
This marriage was preceded by the three banns of marriage, announced on three consecutive Sundays: November 4th, 11th and 18th of the current year.
Bride's mother, who was present at writing this marriage act, gave her oral permission for this marriage.
There were no objections for this marriage.
Newlyweds declared that they did not enter into the prenuptial agreement.
This act was read to the newlyweds and the witnesses, who were all illiterate and it was signed by Us.
*dożywotnicy: plural form of the word: dożywotnik, which means: a "retired" farmer who, due to his age, handed over the farm in exchange for a lifetime's maintenance
On the left margin there is a note that the groom's birth certificate is entered in the year of 1844 at number 116

Holendry Skaszyńskie
It happened in the town of Izbica, on January 8th, 1833, at 2 p.m.
We make it known that in the presence of the witnesses: Jan Karczmarek, farmhand from Skarbanowo, 31 years old and Bogusław Małż, farmer from Tymień, 40 years old, a religious marriage was concluded on this day, between:
Jan Izydor Kowalski, a single man, farmer living in Bycz, 25 years old, who was born in the village of Siedlimowo, located in the Grand Duchy of Posen, son of the late spouses: Andrzej Kowalski and Anna Kowalska, who lives on the farm in Bycz
and
Karolina Krygier, a miss, daughter of the spouses Krygier: Jan and the late Marianna nee Pubantz, who lives at her father's on the farm in Holendry Skaszyńskie, 20 years old, born in Holendry Skaszyńskie.
This marriage was preceded by the three banns of marriage, announced in the parishes of:
- Izbica, on: December 30th of the last year, January 1st and 6th of the current year,
- Orle, on: December 26th and 30th of the last year and January 1st of the current year.
There were no objections for this marriage.
Newlyweds' fathers*, who were present at writing this marriage record , gave their oral permission for the marriage.
Newlyweds declared that they did not enter into the prenuptial agreement.
This act was read to the newlyweds and the witnesses and it was signed by Us only, because the newlyweds and the witnesses were all illiterate.

*This is a literal translation. I am not responsible for mistakes made by the person writing the document. The groom's father is said to be dead, so it must be a mistake that both fathers attended the act.

Ludwikowo
It happened in Sompolno, on July 18th/30th, 1878, at 7.30 p.m.
Appeared August Schmidt, day-laborer from Ludwikowo, 34 years old, in the presence of the witnesses: August Schmidt, 24 years old and Bogumił Albrecht, 40 years old, peasants living in Ludwikowo and presented Us a female infant child, who was born in Ludwikowo, on June 10th/22nd of the current year, at 8 p.m., of his wife, Karolina nee Schmidt, 27 years old.
At The Holy Baptism, held today, the child was given the name: Henrietta and the godparents were: the witness, Schidt and Henrietta Jazmann from Ludwikowo.
This act was delayed due to the illnes of the mother of the child.
This act was read to the declarant and the witnesses, who were all illiterate and it was signed by Us.

Osówie
It happened in Babiak, on November 26th/December 8th, 1872, at 4 p.m.
Appeared Jan Borkowski, day-laborer living in Osówie, 31 years old, in the presence of the witnesses: Wilhelm Detter, peasant from Kiejsze, 34 years old and Ludwik Schilke, clothier from Babiak, 52 years old, and presented Us a female infant child, informing that the child was born in Osówie, on November 21st/December 3rd of the current year, at 11 p.m., of his legal wife, Florentyna nee Pacer, 28 years old.
At the Holy Baptism, held today, the child was given the name: Emilia, and the godparents were: aforementioned Wilhelm Detter, Felicjan Dembowski and Fryderyk Pacer from Kiejsze.
This record was read by Us to the present and was signed by Us and Wilhelm Detter; the others were illiterate.
