Post subject: The Krawczyk's in Lakta Gorna
My interest is in identifying the family of my Polish birth father Boleslaw Johannes Krawczyk who was born on 23rd January 1921. I believe he was from the Lakta Gorna region. His father was Johannes Krawczyk and his mother's first name was Maria. Boleslaw had a sister called Janina who married a Jaszek. At the time of Boleslaw's death on 26th July 1982, Janina was living in Rybnik. Boleslaw migrated to the UK in the 1940's and became a coal miner in Pontypridd, South Wales. That is all I know, so would welcome comments from anyone who recognises this family.
