Hi,

I would like to order a death record (1918) from Pennsylvania. I have already read all instructions and I am pretty aware of how it works.
However, an american ID is required and I don't have one. If someone out there can do this favor for me I would really appreciate it. I can transfer the money through a Paypal account.

I just found out that the public health law in PA has changed and many death records are now easier to obtain. Here is the link to the new info:

I don't think this change was widely publicized and I only found out about it a few days ago.

Hi,

I would like to know if there are volunteers in this forum that would be willing to request and view LDS microfilms (up to four) for me (actually, it is for a friend of mine who helps lots of people). Details:
- I can refund the volunteer, through a Paypal account, for the rental of the film (and scanned copies, if the records are found) and tolls road;
- The records are in Russian, though some films have an index. Even if the index is, too, in Russian, I can provide the volunteer an image of the name and surname I am looking for, so the volunteer will know how the names look like in russian;
- I know day, month, year and place of birth for one person: for his three brothers and one sister I know only the year;
- I will inform the volunteer the number of the film, the number of the item, and year where the records are expected to be found;
- The records cover Drobin, Koziebrody, Gora and Sierpc parishes and are not available through Geneteka, Metryki or ZoSIA, for the frame of time I am looking for;
- In order not to have more than one person requesting the same film, I would ask possible volunteers to send a message to my private email, through this forum.

P.S.: The reason I am not ordering these films here is because they usually take from six months to one and a half year to be delivered. Today I received one ordered on December 2011!
