I am looking for information about a man born in Groty 1907.
Is it possible to get any information about the man and his family?

I have the name and birthdate. Is it possible to find out more?

Thank you

Hi,
Give a little more information. Difficult to search for "a man born in Groty in 1907". Today Groty belongs to Warsaw, is located in the part of town called Bemowo. The formerly village belonged to the parish of Babice.

A few years ago, I was looking for my ancestors from Krakow. I contacted the registry office in Krakow and told them my name and date of birth. Unfortunately, they found nothing, but they told me that a family with this surname once lived in Tarnów. I contacted this city, and they found my ancestors in the registers. They couldn't give me much information over the phone (they didn't even speak much English), so I made a trip there last year Smile

"A Man from Groty, born in 1907" is a very broad term. If I were you, I would contact Warsaw (Groty falls under this city according to Google maps) and ask the registry office for information (https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Poland_Civil_Registration). I would go there in person because they may not give you any information over the phone.
