I found on a website the name of a document that could give me more information about my great-grandfather, but I can’t find it on the internet. Maybe you know where i can find it ?

Thank you very much.

It looks like Franciszka is my grandmother. Any chances that Michael lived in France for a while?

Hello Barb,
Thank you so much again, because thaks to you I found a part of my family.
Coud you help me to find more about Michael’s parents ?
His mother was Maria Muryn, and his father Ignacy Jaremczuk. Do you also have access to wedding records ? I think they might have gotten married in Uhrynkowce, maybe in Zaleszczyki, between 1915 and 1921 I would say.
I don’t know if Ignacy Jaremczuk was born in Uhrynkowce, but I think Maria Murun was.
I found on a geneological website someone who might be one of his relatives.
Is name is Grzegorz Muryn, I don’t know he’s birthdate, but his wife Jozefa Muryn was born in 1880, and their children seemed to be born in Uhryńkowce. I think that maybe he could be one of his brothers or cousins.
Thank you in advance. Have a nice day.

Hi,
Between 1911-1923 in the parish of Uhryńkowce there have been marriages of 4 men with the surname Jaremczuk:
Joannes (Jan) in 1912
Gregorius (Grzegorz) in 1914
Petrus (Piotr) in 1922
Paulus (Paweł) in 1923

Hi Barb,
Thank you very much.
I'm a wondering, because it seems that a lot of Jaremczuk lived in Urhynkowce, but yet, there is no trace of Ignacy. Did any of the Jaremczuks mentioned in your post maybe marry a woman named Muryn?

Hi,
Unfortunately not. No Muryn to be seen either. As I mentioned earlier, I only have access to indexes in Uhrynkowce. I think it is best to look in the neighboring parish. Will see this weekend if I can manage to get access to something in the area.
