Hi Barb, I did see the Chałupnik surname in Geneteka, before I made my original post. However, since the document does not say "z Chałupników" it probably is not a surname but an occupation, as you said. I will be interested to see what Dave will have to say about it. I know that their paperwork is consistent with saying they were both born and married in Pstrągowa, Poland. Michael spelled it PETROGOUEO POLAND on his Naturalization paperwork. He was born on August 29,1882 and Married Karoline on November 29, 1905. I searched online and found the attached and link below to the town's marriage records for November of 1905. There is not an entry for the 10th, but on the 8th it looks like the name Michael is spelled out under the Groom. Line 15. I appreciate the assistance in translating this document.
