Thank you for doing a full translation as time permits.

This is a death record for Aleksander Wisniewski
Died in 1894
Death registered in Brok.
He was born in Dlugosiodlo
I am hoping there is a mention of his wife, Wiktoria Wisniewska (nee Olbrys) who may have died before him.

Here is the link to record #188 https://metryki.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=pg&id=248&se=&sy=1894&kt=3&plik=184-189.jpg&x=634&y=276&zoom=3

It happened in Brok, on November 17th/29th 1894, at 2 p.m.
Appeared Józef Kańkowski, 52 years old and Teofil Macioch, 40 years old, both farmers living in Brok and they declared that yesterday, at 1 a.m., died in Brok: Aleksander Wiśniewski, 62 years old, a son of the unknown parents, who was survived by his wife, a worker, Wiktoria nee Olbrys.
After convinced myself about the death of Aleksander Wiśniewski this act was read to the illiterate declarants and it was signed by Us only.

Thank you so much! We have been trying to figure out exactly when he and Wiktoria Olbrys passed. It is very helpful to know she survived him. Thank you again!

Thank you so much Barb! I can't believe I missed her record when I was searching. You guys are masters!!! Our family lore is that my great grandfather (who emigrated to the US) was an orphan, and that he didn't know his parents' names. His father died when he was 12, and his mom (Wiktoria Olbrys) lived until he was in his 20s. Obviously he knew their names! I'm guessing something was lost in translation as this story got passed down.

Thank you again!
