I am researching my wife's family. The family is known to be Ukranian, however the only records we can find are stating from Cieszanów, Poland. The names of interest that we don't know much of are: Dymitr Mushanski (modern spelling has been Musyj or Musey) and Catherina (Katarzyna) Hulak. Dymitr was born approximately 1839 in Cieszanów 367. Death was approximately January 15, 1881. Catherina was born approximately 1836 in Cieszanów 108. Death was approximately 1916 but I don't have confirmation of this, and her headstone states 1914 from what we understand. I am looking to see if anyone is able to access birth records or church records for either individual so we can find out parental information for both. I have been unsuccessful in my search for information online and have also reached out to the town for assistance. Thank you |
