I have wonderful news to share! I have been talking with a girl in Brzeziny Poland that has my family last name. In her spare time she has tried to help me with my research. A few days ago she said that she may have a surprise for me. I came to find out that their were 8 families still in Brzeziny with the Stasik last name so I told my friend this. She told me the 5 or 6 she wa related to and there were a few she was not, so I asked if she could find out the addresses so that I could try to write to them. This morning I came to work to find an email from her and would love to share with everyone here so posted below is the email:

Erasmus was the father of Francis Stasik (His parents are Joannes Stasik i Anna Stasik in home Jagieła) Erasmus was the mother Anna Stasik (her parents are Michael Stasiowski and Magdalena Stasiowska in home Marcinkiewicz).
Francis Stasik had a sister - Franciska Stasik. She married in 1863 roku.
Victoria Stasik (Erasmus sister) She married Jacob Andreasik in 1880. Jakob Andreasik (his parents were Stanislaw Andreasik and Victoria Andreasik in home Wojnarowska). They had children:
1. Apollonia Andreasik, born March 22, 1881 (house number 99)
2. Bronisława Andreasik, born September 21, 1884 (house number 99)
3. Joannes Andreasik, born June 15, 1887 (hause number 99)
4. Nicolaus Andreasik, born November 3, 1889 (hause number 100) - Here is the mistake a lot of errors is also in the books. is poorly written.
5. Michael Andreasik, born August , 1905 (hause number 99)

I'm also looking for my roots, my grandfather Maximilian was born in the house number 100 His parents were Joannes Stasik (his parents are Jacob Stasik Stasik and Marianna nee Kwiatek) and Marianna home Stoduś Stasik.
Jacob Stasik and Joannes Stasik (grandfather Erasmus) is BROTHERS ARE!!

This was so surprising to me I cried. I really think that me and her are related and I am so thankful for someone sending me her address in the spring. Now if anyone recognizes any other names on my list please contact me, we may be related. This was the very best christmas gift I have ever recieved. My search like many others has been long and hard and I am very grateful to her for wanting to help!!!! What an experience this is and has been for me that I wanted to share this because so many people here have added help along the way for me.. Thanks PO folks. This is going to continue and I am hoping to someday save enough money to go to Poland and meet my relatives there. We are 99% sure we are related somehow. I guess we would have to figure out how we are related cousins I'm sure but how far back is the question. Any replys will be greatly welcomed. Please do not forget she does not write english very well and some things look funny but I know what she means..
