Post subject: birth certificate for my grandmother
[b]Hi, my grandmother, Francezka (Frania) Wilkosz was born in Borow, Poland, Lublin Voivodiship( then Russia) on June 2, 1900. Her parents were Michal Wilkosz who was born in Borow on September 11,1862 and Agnieszka Oczak who was born on December 28, 1969. Her baptizmal records are at the Church in Borow, Andrew the Apostle, along with the records of all her brothers and sisters. Can you tell me how to find her civil birth record or the civil birth records or either of her parents? I would like to apply for Polish citizenship.

Welcome to the forum.
This record is from the parish of Borów. Wedding date: February 8, 1886. Michał was 24 years old, and Agnieszka was 16 years old.
Michał’s parents: Wojciech Wilkosz and Anna, née Adamczyk.
Agnieszka’s parents: Michał Oczak and Józefa, née Woźniak.

Here are the birth records of Michal (no. 90) and Agnieszka (no. 126). You can also read Michal’s recorded date of death.
During the Russian Partition, the priest also served as a civil registrar. Therefore, there is no separate civil register.

Post subject: birth records of my grandmother and grandfather
Thank you very much for this valuable information. In researching Polish Citizenship I need also to have my grandmother's birth information. She was born Franciszka Wilkosz on June 2, 1900. I know her birth and baptism were also registered in the same church as her parents.
My Grandfather, Mieczyslaw Koziel was born in Janiszow Poland, only a few kilometers from Barow where my grandmother was born. His records may be at the same church as my grandmother's or at another village in that area. His father was Antoni Koziel born in 1972 and his mother was Joanna Polat according to his marriage certificate. If you are able to find either of their birth records, I would be very grateful.
Antoni may have spelled his name Koziol. He had a brother Yan Koziol also who emigrated to the US.

Father: Antoni Kozieł 39 years old (estimated year of birth 1865)
Mother Joanna nee Piłat 39 years old (estimated year of birth 1865)
Scan 49. Kozieł Mieczysław was born on March 31, 1897 in Karczmiska (parish Karczmiska).
Father: Antoni Kozieł 32 years old (estimated year of birth 1865)
Mother Joanna nee Piłat 32 years old (estimated year of birth 1865)
Scan 103. Wilkosz Franciszka was born on June 2,1900 in Borów (parish Borów).
Father: Michał Wilkosz, 39 years old (estimated year of birth 1861)
Mother: Agnieszka nee Oczak, 28 years old (estimated year of birth 1872)
