Hi

I`m really hoping someone can help.
I am building my family tree and have been stuck for months! I am looking for information regarding my grandfather.

His details are:

Jozef Stanislaw Rozak - Know as: Joseph Stanislaw Rozak & Josef S Rozak.
Born: 19th Feb 1923
Location: Brzelnica
Death: 2009
Location: Isle Of Wight UK
His Father: Stanislaw Rozak
His Mother: Zofia Rozak
His Sister: Stacha Rozak
(possibly had a half brother)
Wife: Cynthia Rozak

I am desperate to find any information regarding his parents and sister so I can continue with my tree.
I would also like to find a copy of his birth certificate if possible.
Basically as much information as possible.

In Brzeźnica located in the Pokarpackie Voivodeship https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brze%C5%BAnica_(wojew%C3%B3dztwo_podkarpackie) there is a surname Rożak/Różak. Maybe this is the place you are looking for?

Hello again, There are several places in Poland called Brzeznica. Do you have any documents that could help in finding the right place?

Hi Wayne,
I think finding his birth record will be difficult. He was born in 1923. I think it will be easier to find marriage records for his parents. Will look at the three places. You hear from me.

You can write to archdiocesan archive in Tarnów and ask if there is a birth record for Jozef Stanislaw Rozak in parish Brzeźnica k. Dębicy. They have records for 1923. You will be able to confirm or exclude whether this is the correct place. http://archiwum.diecezja.tarnow.pl/kontakt.html

I sent mail to parish Brzeznica. It seems that Brzeznica in podkarpackie (what Monika mentioned) is the right place.
We can wait a few days.

OK so I might have some more info that could "possibly" be related.

Sophia Różak = she died on 21 March, 1929 at age 34, maiden name Golec, married to Stanislaw.

Stanislaw = He died on 30 July 1934, at age 47. Its possible that he had two marriages, first Sophia Golec, second
Francisca Szewc (Franciszka)

Stanislaws parents are Pauli (Pawel) Różak and Francisca (Franciszka) Bielanska.

Now all I have to do is either confirm or eliminate these details. Confused
