Chronicle of the Figas Family
The Figas Family (on mother's side)
Our 2xgreatgrandfather Łukasz Figas was a Kosynier (a scythemen, a soldier of the Kościuszko Uprising).
He was told that if the Kościuszko Uprising succeed he would get from Tadeusz Kościuszko a title of nobility for his bravery, sacrifice and merit.
The fall of the Uprising was in the year of 1794.
His son was born in the year of 1818 and our greatgrandfather, Szczepan Figas (his wife was Maria) fought during Revolutions of 1848 (known as the springtime of the peoples).
The Figas family came from a large farm in the area of Trzemeszno (maybe it was Kruchowo?)
After the fall of each Uprising, families became poorer. The number of living people decreased, land and property were given away in order to start farming again from scratch.
In the year of 1845 their eldest son was born. He was our grandfather, Marcin Figas.
Our greatgrandmother Maria, during Revolutions of 1848, as a wife of insurgent, with their 3 years old son Marcin and her sister, Katarzyna, had to.....this sentence is unfinished. |

Post subject: tłumaczenie nieczytelnej adnotacji
Dobry wieczór.
Potrzebuję pomocy w przetłumaczeniu tej notatki z aktu chrztu z 1946 roku.
Pismo jest trudne do odczytania. Dla kontekstu, dotyczy ona narodzin Kazimierza, syna Jadwigi Antoniak, w 1946 roku. Ojciec nie jest wymieniony.
W akcie ślubu Kazimierza „Niedźwieckiego” z 1969 roku ojcem jest Władysław Niedźwiecki.
Dziękuję bardzo.
