And here's the winning Google Doodle, which will be on the Google search page July 1, in honor of Poland's taking of the Presidency of the Council of the EU. This doodle is by Martyna from the town of Murzasichle, & features Poland's beautiful Tatra mountains.
Murzasichle is only a few miles from where my Rusin and Gasienica ancestors came from. I ♥ this little girls picture! So proud to be Góral.

Here, here! Martyna beautifully and artistically captured the magic and meaning of this region...well done! And, agreed-- proud to be Goral!!
It would be great if this young lady could produce her work on t-shirts and bumper stickers, and earn royalty income for her charming artistry-- think they'd sell like hot cakes in the highlander communities in the U.S. too.
