Hi, I have been searching feverishly to find a detailed history of Tarnow Poland, I know it was close to Ukraine and I have some Polonized Ukrainian names on my family tree. Was Tarnow ever Ukrainian? How close did the border come? I'm interested to know where these Polonized names could have come from. I know Borzecin is closer to Krakow, but were there any Ukrainian populations there?

Thanks for the info!
