Is there a place or a website that lists what records are kept at the archdioceses level. Would the archdioceses hold more or different records than what the civil registraion office does. PRADZIAD lists some years available at the civil office but they are not the years that I am looking for. The archdioceses I am interested in is Lowicz. The town I am interesed in is called Jamno, between Ilow and Sanniki.

Łowicz Diocese was formed in 1992. Formerly it was part of the Archiocese of Warszawa. Probably older records remain in Warszawa. Try emailing:

Try contacting some of the researchers of the IŁÓW parish, through message to them via that site (free registration). Also add your name to the list giving the surnames you are interested in.
