He came over when he was a young boy. when he joined the Army (in 1917 at age17) they changed his spelling of his last name by dropping some letter or letters. MY first guess was Kosmider, second guess is KOZmider I am not sure of the polish surnames. I need some help and possible suggestions. All that I know is is was polish and Catholic and from the Warsaw area, and he had a sister named Mary. He came to the US between 1906 and 1910, it is my best guess. Please is any one can help me with the possible spelling etc i sure would be grateful Thanks Susan |
