Hi Wally,
You didn't specify, but I think you may be referring to the Geneteka website.
Clicking on the flag does change certain things from Polish to English. On the home page, for example, the headings of the columns change ("Tereny" changes to "Provinces," and "Parafie" changes to "Parishes"). However, the text of the records does not change and perhaps that is what you are hoping for.
Hope this helps,
Sophia

Post subject: Translations
Dave,I was referring to flag translation on other sites. Some have flags but when clicking on them the information stays in Polish. Other forum sites that say to click on flag to see English translation. Blogs and other things that might lead to other searches. I have a image translator but it does nothing for old cursive interpretation.

Wally,
Many websites that I have visited, which have the language flags that you describe, only change the titles of their menus and not the content within. Translations are difficult and time-consuming and it would be most difficult for websites to have their entire contents multi-lingual. One can try to learn to read the handwriting and the language. It is very rewarding.
Best,
Sophia
