Post subject: Konstanty Zimnicki from Grodno
grandpa listed Grodno Poland as his birthplace but he always said he was Russian. he also listed Kozlasky, Wyjast Poland/ Russia as his place of birth. He was born in 1892 and immigrated to Chicago around 1914. The only relative i know of is his father who is listed on his death certificate as Sam Zimnicki.
Konstanty also went by the names Gus, Gustav, and Constantine.
Gus married Joana Szcerba in Chicago on September 1, 1917.
