Post subject: Wisniewski/Blue Army/ Lachowo
My grandfather Tomasz Wisniewski was born in 1886 in Lachowo. Parents Emilia (Medyny, Medynowska, Medynk depending on who wrote the record) and Jozef Wisniewski. He was the only family member to come to the United States. He came to the U.S. on April 29, 1907. After he became an American citizen, he fought in the Polish Blue Army WWI in 1918. Some brothers and sisters were born in Poryte and some went to live in Warsaw pre WW2.
