Post subject: Need help finding records
Hello. I want to try and find birth and marriage records for my ancestors in Poland, but I don't know who to contact or what is even possible.
Our family name when we first arrived in USA was spelled Gniazdowitz, but with some research on Polish spellings I believe it was probably Gniazdowicz in Poland. Our family is from Lomza or Kosewo. Those are the 2 towns i've been told. I don't know if those are 2 separate towns or if one is a town and the other is a county/state like how we are setup in the US.
