Post subject: Celmer / Potenska / Potenski (Lomza - Krzewo Area)
Looking for distant relatives of Feliks CELMER (b.1874) and his wife Stanislawa POTENSKA (b.1874) of Krzewo. These two were my great-grandparents who both immigrated (not together) to the USA in 1900/1901 and settled in Cleveland Ohio. Wife arrived after husband with their near 6 month old daughter Creslawa (who became Charlotte Celmer).
Stanislawa changed her name to Mary Stella. Feliks became Felix.
It should be noted that the younger brother of Feliks named Peter and the young sister of Stanislawa named Bronislawa (Michalina) married each other in the USA. She changed her name to Minnie.
They would have been from the old village of Krzewo (stare krzewo - today)...possibly, with family in Lomza as well.
Celmer Family originated from the Alsace-Lorraine region...per death certificate of my Feliks (Felix).
