Okay, I can say that on June 10, I called St. Sebastian's Parish and the lady said they don't really do ancestry but that she would do a search for a marriage of my grandpa George and grandma Mary. So, 2 1/2 weeks later and I have not received a call. But I understand this is done on her free time. Just to let you know what has happened to this point.

Hello everybody. I am still around. I am such a good procrastinator that I didn't realize it's been about 3 years since we talked.

Anyway, I was thinking that since my grandpa Wojciech didn't emigrate to America until 1907, which puts him at 27 years old is it possible he might have had to join the Austrian or Russian army? And if he did is it possible that there are open? records over there?

Later. Jim.
