Hi everyone,
For those of us with an interest in Polish history and how it affected our ancestors, it’s fascinating to learn about the years immediately following the end of World War I. Poland had a long struggle, particularly on its eastern border, finally resolved by what is sometimes called “The Miracle of the Vistula” in August 1920.
There is now an incredibly well-crafted website available, which explains the battle and uses actual recordings of key historical figures from Polish radio archives, which you can find here:
If you can’t read Polish, don’t worry! This link takes you to the English version. When you enter the site, you’ll see on the left side a chronological listing of events - - be sure to advance through all of them to get the whole story.
Enjoy learning about it,
