Post subject: The origins of Czlapinski surname

Czlapinski or in fact Człapiński, how it should be written in Polish is from the word człapać - “to walk heavily, shuffle along”.
Nowadays there are 290 individuals using the surname Człapiński (and its feminine version Człapińska) living in Poland, mainly in the center of the country - in Łódź and area. Detailed map of the surname distribution can be found here: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Człapiński.
