I have a number of birth, death, and marriage records of family members. Quite a few include the words "Nobilis", "Generous", or "Magnus" when referencing the family member.

What other source documentation can be found that would support this title / reference?

For example, this death reference for Stephan Gnatowski (http://gnatowski.org/genealogy/showmedia.php?mediaID=653&medialinkID=753) - Zalesie, 14 August 1726 - has the reference "... noblis Stephanus Gnatowski...".

How can I prove this noble reference?
