I have seen that both provide the same information about the origin of polish surnames.
Who first wrote about it?

Gilberto,

Professor Kazimierz Rymut is ultimate authority in the onomastics (or in regular people language "surnames") field. I think I can risk statement that all other works about origins and meanings of Polish surnames are based on his scientific studies. See prof. Rymut page on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazimierz_Rymut .
