Not sure if this is an appropriate post for this section. My mother was taken into forced labour (from Wagrowiec area) during the war and I'm trying to find out her circumstances. She wound up at the DP camp in Hellbrunn where I presume she met my father, who was a prisoner in Mauthausen. I was born soon after in Salzburg.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I think I found my father in the list. Is there any way to get further information or to add to it. The record only has his mother's first name and no surname and his own father isn't recorded at all. I noticed another record for him under his birth date, but I'm not sure if the information is correct.

Cheers,

Select the mode of work with the questionnaire:

Data can only be modified by the person who submitted the data. In order to obtain access to correct data, the name and surname of the victimized person should be provided, as well as the name and surname of the person who submitted the data. This is possible only in the case of data that is already available on the program's website.

but also after its end. The Institute has the largest collection of data on the fate of Poles during World War II. These are not only archives taken over from the IPN's predecessor - the Main Commission for the Investigation of Crimes against the Polish Nation, but also the Base of the International Search Service in Bad Arolsen, Germany, which contains information on over 17 million people.

Information on the victims of German and Soviet repression can be obtained by writing to the following address:

with the annotation "Information Center about the Victims of World War II"
