Post subject: Morskie Oko in Chicago
My aunt Rosalie (Wyskiel) Hemmerling belonged to Morskie Oko in Chicago 1950-60's. I was involved with many parades at a Polish park in Chicago. My query is ... is there anyone that might have pictures or movies of those parades. My aunt always had a float that was of a Naval ship. My oldest brother would be the head flag bearer with several other gentlemen carrying flags ahead of the float. The parade was held in the late fall, possibly Vet's Day (not sure).
If anyone knows of these parades and has pix or movies, I would be grateful.

I don't have photos or film, but the Chicago History Museum has an extensive collection of photographs you can review. Many of these are photos of Poles at work and in the community.
