I would like to know the origin of my family name; Kesikowski the original spelling in polish is Kęsikowski. Does it come from a region or village? I have found some on the : www.wtg-pda webpage from the 1760's, also sometimes spelled Kęskowski without the letter "I" in it. I know my name is very rare in Poland, but so difficult to get any information on the origin of it. My grandfather was born in Warta, near Lodz, but I have found my surname in various parts of Poland; Kalisz, Poznan, Gdańsk Pomerania, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, among others. Can you help, I will be very grateful,Daniel Kesikowski.
