Post subject: Names & places in birth record
This is the birth record of my GGG Grandfather:
Akt: 172 (at the bottom of the page)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DY69-3MS?i=352&wc=9RTW-C6K%3A362228601%2C363253601%2C362794101&cc=2115410
I believe it says:
Michał Ludwik Michalski
Born 23 August 1840 in Żarki, (Myszków, Silesia)
Father Józef Michalski, 49, a shoemaker
Mother Katarzyna Obstarska ??, 30
I would be interested to have confirmation of the mother's maiden name?
And also to know the names of the witnesses and godparents, to see if they are relations.
Are any other places mentioned ? - Michał married 130km away in Opoczno, near Piotrków Tribunalski
Very many thanks for any help or insight.
Natalie
