Hello Marcel,
Seems like you have gotten a bit swamped lately. I also previously posted this one. To spare you time, can you just look at one thing for me on the attached document?

Can you make out the maiden name of the mother - Małgorzata ?

Thank you,
Lee

Marcel,
I found a village - Dzieczewo - about 10 km to the north of the Osowo/Ossowo area (near Radzanów). Do you think that could be a match for Małgorzata's place of birth from her death certificate?

Thank you so much for all your hard efforts!

Hi Marcel

One additional marriage document, thanks. I am interested to see where the Jakub in this record (my 2nd great grandfather) was residing at the time of his marriage. He had been orphaned at the age of 8, and I kind of wondered where he ended up in those years

Thanks so much
Louise

Could someone please help me translate the handwritten Polish comment added at a later date to the attached item. The original entry shows the birth/baptism (in Latin) of Constantinus in April 1843. He was marked as illegitimate, listing an unknown father and a mother named Justina Samolewska.

I see the name of Jozef Szponik written in the Polish comment and a date of 18 April 1866 but I cannot decipher or translate the rest of the comment. Any help would be appreciated.

According to the mother's testimony, the entry was corrected on April 18th, 1866, as follows: the father of the child was Józef Szpornik and the child was considered as a legitimate.
Priest's signature.
